Some more from Australia...

The day after we had gone to Manly we just took the day to hang out. We slept in in the morning and ater waking up we went swimming in the neighboors pool which was really nice! After swimming for a while, Gens grandma came over for lunch so we got to met her. It was fun to see her and she brought over fresh spring rolls for lunch and they were really good. After a very good lunch we went over to Westfield Shoppingcentre for a little bit of shopping and grocery shopping for the swedish christmas food that Sofia, Ida, Agnes and I cooked.

On Christmas Eve we got up and started cooking some time in the morning. There were guests coming over that night and we were making swedish christmas food for everyone. After a while in the kitchen, Martin took us for a carride to show us around Sydney and the Gap which we went to. Everything is so beautiful. On the way back we stopped for ice cream! :D
When we got back to the house we did some more cooking before the guests came over. I think that everyone really liked the Swedish Chrstmas food that we made so that was fun! <3

Now I have to do some studying and then get ready for school (i dont start until 11.40 today!) <3

The first couple of days in Australia

tAs I wrote earlier, the trip to Australia was just amazing! We booked the tickets some time in May and now we are back home. It all went by so fast but it was a big success!

We left Sweden on dec 18th, 6.25 pm. We had gone to school that day since it was the last day and we didnt have any classes. It was fun to see everyone before we left and we got a chance to say goodbye! After school we went home to pack the final things before leaving for the airport! We were all so excited that the day of the trip finally had come!

After about 30 hours of travelling and two stops on the way we landed in Sydney, where Gen and her father and brother picked us up from the airport! We went back to their house and had a chance to tae a shower, unpack a bit and have a light lunch before we headed to Bondi Beach! We walked ablong the coast from Bondi Beach to another beach and everything was just super pretty and it was so nice to have about 30 degrees (about 90 degress F). For dinner that night we went to Gens aunt and uncle. We had a BBQ dinner and talked to her aunt, uncle and cousins who were all super nice! After many hours of no sleep we went back to Gens house and went to bed!

During our second day in Sydey we woke up form birds singing outside and it was nice and sunny out! We ate breakfast outside under the grapes that were growing in the backyard. After that we headed into Sydney for sightseeing! We took the train and got off by the Harbour Bridge and then walked over the Harbour Bridge twards the Opera House. We saw the whole city and it was really beautiful! We walked to the Opera House and around it. The Opera House was really cool to see, since its so famous and its an icon for Sydney. In the afternoon we also walked through the Botanical Gardens, went to Centre Point Tower and we even did some shopping in Sydney which was fun!

During our third day in Sydney we took a boat to a place called Manly, where we walked to a beautiful beach and spent part of our day! It was so nice to go swimming and just lay on the beach! The water was super salty and the currents water were really strong, so we didnt go very far out but the waves were so big so we got wet anyway!

This is just the begining of everything we did while we went to Australia and Ill write about the rest of it later! <3

Back in Sweden

Sorry I havent been updating at all, i just didnt have the chance to while i was away...

This winterbreak has been incredable. Its just been amazing to go to Australia with three of your best friends and having so much fun! We have experienced so much and the whole trip is really a memory for life!

I got back two days ago and school already starts tomorrow. It feels so wierd to think that just a couple of days ago we were on the beach in Australia and now Im back in cold Sweden with all the snow and have to go back to school. But it has been nice to get a break like this from school and now i only have half of high school left before graduating! It was nice to get back to see everyone i missed while i was gone though <3

Im still used to the time in Australia though and since there is a 10 hour time difference, its 3 pm in Australia while it is 5 in the morning here. I woke up and just could fall back to sleep!

Im going to post many pictures and write more about the whole trip, but right now i really have to try to get some sleep!

Take care! ♥

Australia, here we come!

It's time! I leave for Australia tonight. I packed all of last night so I hope that I have evrything now... Im just a little worried about the weight of the suitcase, so Iäm goingto check that after this post.

I'm going to school in like an hour. It's the final day so we are just going to the assembly room, where we will listen to the choir singing some christmas songs and then we can just go. It'll be nice to go though and get a chance to say goodbye to everyone!

I'll post something as soon as I get there and have internet conection! Take care!

It's getting closer...

Now there are only a couple of days left before we leave for Austalia! Im so excited and im looking forward to the summer weather so much and to take it easy after this long fall with school and everything.
I have started to take out all my summer clothes, shoes and sunscreen! I can hardly belive it...

11 days...

...until I leave for Australia with Sofia, Agnes and Ida. It's probably a good time to digg out all the summer clothes and shoes this weekend! I can't believe we are are leaving so soon and going to Sydney where it's summer right now! Agnes, Sofia and I were in town this afternoon to get some christmas gifts for Gen and her family! We got some typical Sweish things for her family. We are also thinking about what food we ant to bring with us for them to try!

Even though it's so close, it stills like it's far away since we have so much in school these last to weeks. We have many tests and assignments to hand in in just the eight days of school that we have left. On friday we have a four hour long math test that I'm not looking forward to.

Now I'm going to go make a cup of tea and then start doing some homework... ♥
